Tomorrow I will be releasing Man in Charge’s music video Live From Paradise. It’s one of those videos I hold very dear to me. It’s simple, cinematic, and most importantly has feeling. The goal wasn’t to be flashy and glitzy. The goal was to portray the connection Man in Charge has to his roots and the people that surround him.

The Making of Deuce Style

My friend and I created a style blog, because to us, style has become a very important part of our lives. We have in mind that this will develop into a fan base, then we can grow into something much larger down the road. Currently we are focused on similar looks for less. We are not made of money, and most people aren’t either. However, who doesn’t want to look nice.

Anyways, I used my graphic design skills and photography skills I have developed from the Stamps school to create the dapper style we invisioned in “Deuce Style.” Hopefully I will put my video skills to work in the future.

Kristian Bush: “Love or Money” (Official Lyric Video)

This is my latest video that has been increasing in recognition.

I created this with my sister Maria Abdelnour (who is primarily responsible for the ideas). With that visual aid I created compositions as well as chimed in with how we should compose the shots. Then I edited this piece in Premiere Pro, because we had a short time frame to edit this. Shot and edited in two days.

I enjoyed making this and I hope you enjoy watching it.

Wide Turn

So I haven’t posted too much on this tumblr and that is going to change.

I feel like most of the work I have created has been in a way used to connect people to areas visually. I don’t necessarily create stories, I create a beginning and end and you can decide what the story is.

This is simply a “for fun” video and I didn’t want to concentrate on the technical aspects of the project. It’s handheld and done in a way to evoke that feeling you get when you are on an adventure with two of your best friends. This is one of my few videos I have done where I haven’t been paid. I think when you’re not paid for work it really amps up your style. So as great as it is to create works for clients, you need to venture into your own time.
